The Power of “Pawsitive” Training

At Pawsitive Dog Training, LLC we will only use ethical and scientifically-based training methods. We believe that using a L.I.M.A method promotes long-lasting results with your dog’s skills and encourages confidence in every situation.

L.I.M.A stands for least intrusive minimally aversive. Our goal is to always listen to the client and the dog, strive to educate ourselves, and ensure we are using the most positive and productive methods possible. We owe this to ourselves, and most importantly, to our dogs. Striving always to teach your dog through the use of Positive Reinforcement first and abiding to this philosophy builds confidence, strengthens the bond and provides the learner the best coping strategies. Being reward based does not equate to being permissive of unwanted behavior; it means to train with LOVE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS & with DISCIPLINE.
